On Nov. 30, 29 PCA middle-school and high-school scholars volunteered their time at the Mid-South Food Bank. The scholars attended a brief orientation, during which they learned the history of the food bank and the guidelines for sorting food items.  In addition to sorting thousands of cans and boxes of food, the scholars also donated 492 pounds of food, which had been collected during the PCA food drive. This 492 pounds is the equivalent of 1,082 meals!
